Call To Order:


The Meeting of the Southwest Lincoln County Water District was called to order at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday,

December 13, 2017, by Chairman Donald Tucker.


Present: The Board members present were Donald Tucker, Robert Whitson, Jon Culton and Gary Hodges. William Turner was absent. Also present were Carla Young, David Whitlock, Pete Gintner and Andy Bacigalupo.


Conflict of Interest: No conflicts were noted.



Minutes: The minutes of the November 8, 2017, regular board meeting were reviewed. Gary Hodges made a motion to accept the minutes as presented; Robert Whitson seconded the motion and the minutes were approved.


Bills: The Board discussed the bills for November 2017. Jon Culton made a motion to approve the bills for payment; Robert Whitson seconded the motion and the bills were approved for payment.


Treasury Report:


The Treasury Report as of November 30, 2017, was as follows: the balance of the investments 10/31/17 of $687,729.26 was comprised of—General Fund, $91,173.69; Construction Fund, $95,261.91; Equipment Fund,  $22,538.19; Water Works Fund, $244,703.09, Revenue Bond Fund, 231,136.49 and SDWRF Reserve Fund, $2,915.89.   With the addition of interest for November of $746.70,  the balance in investment accounts is $679,146.47 as of November 30, 2017.


Surplus Equipment:


The 1997 Ford Ranger pickup was declared surplus. David Whitlock will put it up for bid in the newspaper.



Azalea Lane Recreation Park Property: Carla Young will compose a letter for David Whitlock’s signature outlining the District’s rules regarding this type of property.


2016-17 Audit: The audit was only available this morning, so Carla Young will call a special meeting to discuss the audit after everyone has been able to read it.
