MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Call To Order:

The Meeting of the Southwest Lincoln County Water District was called to order at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday,
October 11, 2017, by Chairman Donald Tucker.

Present: | The Board members present were Donald Tucker, Robert Whitson, William Turner and Jon Culton. Also present were Andy Bacigalupo, David Whitlock, Megan Jones and Carla Young. Gary Hodges was absent.

Conflict of Interest: | Donald Tucker asked if there were any “Conflicts of Interest”. None were stated.

Minutes: | The minutes of the September 13, 2017, regular board meeting were reviewed. Robert Whitson made a motion to approve the minutes as presented; Jon Culton seconded the motion and the minutes were approved.

Bills: | The Board discussed the bills for September, 2017. Robert Whitson made a motion to approve the bills for payment; William Turner seconded the motion and the bills were approved for payment.

Treasury Report:
|
The Treasury Report as of September 30, 2017, was as follows: the balance of the investments 8/31/17 of $585,602.02 was comprised of—General Fund, $90,953.15; Construction Fund, $95,031.50; Equipment Fund, $22,483.67; Water Works Fund, $244,111.18; Revenue Bond Fund, $150,829.21 and SDWRF Reserve Fund, $2,908.82. With the addition of interest for September of $693.61 and a transfer from checking of $40,000.00, the balance in investment accounts is $647,011.14 as of
September 30, 2017.

Waldport Industrial Park: | David Whitlock informed the Board that the City of Waldport has developed a plan for an industrial park off Crestline. After discussing the plan, Donald Tucker asked that a letter be sent to the City to ask that updates for the plan be sent to the District office. David Whitlock will arrange for Kerry, the City Manager, to make a presentation to the Board.

Work Boots for PPE: | David Whitlock requested that work boots be added to the District’s paid PPE list. William Turner made a motion to approve this addition; Jon Culton seconded the motion. Donald Tucker requested the amendment that they be USA made boots. Mr. Whitlock will research the cost of quality boots to place a maximum on the purchases.
